Prime Minister Attends Aidilfitri Celebration in Kelantan, Announces RM4.8 Million Contribution for Mosque Construction

BACHOK, 12 April 2025 – Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today attended the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration at Pantai Irama, Bachok, Kelantan, alongside the Kelantan Menteri Besar and various segments of the local community. His presence, following the State Development Meeting (MPN) in Kota Bharu, underscored the MADANI Government’s commitment to the progress of Kelantan’s people.
In his speech, Anwar emphasized that the MADANI Government would continue working for the well-being of all citizens, including those in Kelantan, despite facing international political challenges and global economic uncertainties. He noted that these circumstances may impact the nation, but development efforts would persist through close collaboration between the Federal and State Governments for the benefit of the people.

During the event, Anwar announced a contribution of RM4 million for the construction of the new Masjid Gong Chapa Temila in Pasir Puteh, as well as an allocation of RM800,000 to complete the construction of Masjid At-Taqwa in Mukim Beris Pak Pura, Bachok. He expressed hope that these contributions would be fully utilized by the local congregations.
“I extend my gratitude to everyone present, enlivening this event with great enthusiasm. May this Syawal continue to bring blessings to us all, Insya-Allah,” he said, referring to the vibrant atmosphere filled with local attendees.
The event reflected the spirit of unity and cooperation in ensuring that development and the well-being of the people remain a priority for the MADANI Government.
