IGP Conducts Aerial Surveillance for PDRM Preparations Ahead of Chinese President’s Official Visit to Malaysia

Putrajaya, 12 April 2025 – Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, today conducted an aerial surveillance operation to assess the readiness of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for the official visit of the President of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Xi Jinping, scheduled from 15 to 17 April.
Arriving at the Helipad in Precinct 6, Tan Sri Razarudin was welcomed by the Commander of the Air Operations Force (PGU), DCP Dato’ Noor Sham Md Jani, before boarding an AW139 helicopter piloted by the PGU Commander, assisted by DSP Hj. Mohammad Firdaus Rosli. The nearly hour-long surveillance covered strategic locations, including travel routes and official event venues, to ensure the highest level of security through the Internal Security and Public Order Department and other units during the visit.
Earlier, Tan Sri Razarudin received a briefing on Op Fuwa 2025 from the Putrajaya District Police Chief, ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed, at the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel. Also present were the Head of Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department, SAC Khalid Saion, Assistant Commander (Operations) of Bukit Aman Special Action Unit, Superintendent Mohammad Khairani Khalid, and senior PDRM officers.
