IGP VISITED GAS PIPE EXPLOSION SITE IN PUTRA HEIGHTS

Subang Jaya, 7 April 2025 - The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, visited the site of a gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights here at noon yesterday.


His arrival at the scene around 12:30 PM was welcomed by the Selangor Chief of Police, CP Dato’ Hussein Omar Khan.


The visit began with a briefing from Dato' Hussein regarding the incident, where all elements played a crucial role in ensuring the situation and safety of the area were restored to normal.


Tan Sri Razarudin also listened to a briefing delivered by the Subang Jaya District Police Chief, ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, on the latest developments in the investigation being conducted by the police.


Following the briefing, Tan Sri Razarudin was taken to the Incident Control Post to conduct an inspection and assess the condition of the affected area, accompanied by the Selangor Deputy Chief of Police, DCP Mohd Zaini Abu Hassan.


Also present were the Head of the Selangor Criminal Investigation Department, SAC Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof, and the Senior Officer of the Weapons Unit (CBRNE), Weapons Branch, Logistics and Technology Department of Bukit Aman, DSP Rayner Jaunis.
