BACHOK, KELANTAN, 20 MARCH 2025 – The Public Service Department (JPA) continues its commitment to supporting communities through the Santuni MADANI Program by delivering food aid for breaking fast throughout Ramadan to 36 e-Kasih recipients in Kampung Teluk Ara, Gunong Bachok.
The aid was presented by Datuk Dr. Mohd Zabri bin Yusoff, Director of the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), representing YBhg. Tan Sri, the Director-General of Public Service, during a brief ceremony. This initiative forms part of the preparations for the 2025 Tautan Perdana Program, scheduled for 19 April 2025.
The recipients are from the asnaf group registered under the e-Kasih ICU system, classified as poor with a household per capita income not exceeding RM532.
Santuni MADANI: Ongoing Commitment to Community Welfare
The Santuni MADANI Program goes beyond merely providing aid, aiming to enhance community well-being through advocacy and development efforts. Eight key areas have been outlined to benefit local residents:
i. Poverty Reduction
ii. Education Advocacy
iii. Improved Healthcare Access
iv. Employment Opportunities & Unemployment Reduction
v. Community Safety
vi. Drug Abuse Prevention
vii. Infrastructure Development
viii. Environmental Sustainability and Green Technology
Additionally, efforts are underway to upgrade telecommunications networks and install solar lighting in identified areas of Kampung Telaga Ara.
Strategic Collaboration for Public Welfare
JPA expressed its appreciation to strategic partners, including:
i. Federal Development Office (ICU) of Kelantan
ii. Kelantan State Education Department
iii. National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) of Kelantan
iv. Bachok District Land Office
v. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
This collaboration aligns with the Santuni MADANI objectives, promoting a whole-of-government approach to realize the Public Service Reform Agenda and empower the well-being of the people.
