KEDAH, 9 MARCH 2025 – Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail emphasized that the Pakatan Harapan (PH) machinery in Kedah must always be prepared to face challenges and adopt an offensive strategy at the state level, while continuing to highlight the success of federal policies for the well-being of the people.

He made these remarks during his speech at the Kedah State Unity Moreh Event last night, held alongside Dato Seri Mahdzir Khalid and the leadership and machinery of PH Kedah. According to Saifuddin, the relaxed gathering was more than just a supper event—it served as a strategic platform for exchanging views and strengthening the coalition’s efforts.

“As the Home Minister, my focus is not limited to the ministry alone. The issues of the people of Kedah remain a priority, and the first quarter of 2025 is a critical time to ensure more solutions are implemented,” he said.

He also urged full utilization of federal assistance channels to ensure Kedah is not left behind in the development mainstream, stressing that this momentum must not be wasted.

Saifuddin noted that 73 initiatives under the People’s Life Stimulus Plan (PACU) have been implemented to assist various segments of society, and these efforts need to be clearly communicated to the public. At the state level, the Kedah PH Convention is seen as a key platform to drive the agenda of change.

He welcomed the organization of more such events, highlighting that the informal atmosphere opens up space for deeper and more effective discussions.

In closing his speech, Saifuddin praised the efforts of the Kedah PH Secretariat for organizing the meaningful event, asserting that the Kedah PH coalition is not merely surviving but will continue to advance as an innovative and competitive entity.
