PAPAR, SABAH, 8 MARCH 2025 – The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) today announced the implementation of the Madani Ihsan Service Program@PETRONAS AutoExpert (SIM@PAX) in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025 celebration.
This program, an initiative under the Payung Rahmah Madani agenda, was first introduced on 24 January 2025 ahead of the Chinese New Year and is now being expanded to benefit more Malaysians.
According to the Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, SIM@PAX is a strategic collaboration between KPDN and PETRONAS aimed at assisting low-income groups in reducing the burden of living costs.
“The program offers discounts ranging from 10 to 30 percent on vehicle servicing and mineral and semi-synthetic lubricants, significantly lower than market prices,” he said during his speech in Papar, Sabah.
For the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, SIM@PAX will be expanded to include servicing and lubricants specifically for diesel vehicles. This step is intended to benefit diesel vehicle users, particularly in Sabah and Sarawak, as well as small traders who rely on vehicles such as pickup trucks.
The program will run for 15 days, from 15 to 29 March 2025, involving 96 PETRONAS AutoExpert workshops nationwide. The public can check the locations of participating workshops at www.mymesra.com.my and make bookings via the Setel app starting today.
At the same time, KPDN also launched the Ikhlas Ramadan Program with Gas PETRONAS today, donating gas cylinders to 100 traders at the Papar Weekly Guest Site Ramadan Bazaar in Sabah. This contribution includes two free gas cylinder replacements for each participating trader.
“The enthusiastic response to SIM@PAX previously demonstrates that this initiative genuinely helps the people. We are committed to continuing to extend its benefits to more groups,” Armizan added.
