“The spirit of MADANI Harmony in the Madani Government underscores that unity is not merely a slogan, but a reality we live out every day. This unity is our strength,” he said on Facebook.

Saifuddin made these remarks after joining friends from the Padang Serai Parliament constituency in celebrating Chinese New Year with great joy last night.

He noted that his arrival was welcomed with a lively lion dance, and the event was made even more exciting by the presence of Indian and Malay friends who joined the Chinese community in celebrating the festival.

“In this country, every celebration belongs to all of us. During Deepavali, we enjoy murukku. During Hari Raya, we savor ketupat, and for Chinese New Year, we join in tossing yee sang.

“This is the beauty of Malaysia—diverse cultures, yet we respect and celebrate each other’s joys together,” he said.
