PUTRAJAYA 19 January 2025 – The Asia International Security Conference and Expo 2025 (AISSE’25) is not just an event but a strategic initiative that aims to position Malaysia as a center for security innovation, cooperation, and leadership.

According to the Minister of Home Affairs, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the conference will take place at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) from tomorrow until January 22.

He explained that the conference was led by the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) with the theme “Asia United: Charting the Future of Global Peace and Security through Law Enforcement Collaboration,” reflecting aspirations for unity, cooperation, and development.

In the meantime, Saifuddin said AISSE’25 is targeting the presence of more than 300 companies from 48 countries.

He said these include leading brands such as Barzan Holdings, BlackBerry, 1AETOS & DRON, Systems Consultancy Services, SAMSUNG, ELMU E, Dahua Technology and U Mobile.

“The event will feature 109 local companies and 212 international companies, showcasing the latest technology in security.

“With an estimated attendance of 5,000 trade visitors and 1,000 seminar participants, AISSE’25 is a strategic platform that brings together various parties from cyber security, public security, and smart monitoring technology,” he said.

Commenting further, Saifuddin said the event will receive 60 international delegations and 500 local delegates, including ASEAN ministers and global leaders.

He said Malaysia’s 10th position in the Global Peace Index (GPI) 2024 proves our commitment to peace.

“AISSE’25 is not only in line with this achievement but also supports the 16th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) which focuses on peace, justice, and strong institutions.

“The theme of AISSE’25 highlights our determination to strengthen regional unity, enhance law enforcement cooperation, and promote innovative security strategies,” he said.

Saifuddin added, AISSE’25 is not just an exhibition, but a catalyst for strategic partnerships between the government and industry.

He said the event focused on security solutions in areas such as cyber security, advanced monitoring technology, and military equipment, which not only strengthen security but also drive economic growth.

“Among the main programs are the Ministerial Roundtable, and the Ministerial Keynote and Fireside Chat, which are the basis for strengthening the relationship between government leaders and the global security sector.

“The Ministerial Roundtable will provide a high-impact discussion platform to address threats such as cyber security and new technologies,” he said.

According to Saifuddin, the AISSE and CPS Summit will contain 36 conference sessions, including forums, keynotes, Fireside Chats, and workshops featuring high-profile speakers.

He said, product demonstrations and technology solutions from exhibitors will showcase the latest innovations in security.

“This includes products and technical solutions designed to address modern security challenges.
